Terms of Service

Version initial-2026 · Effective 13 October 2026

1. About Inviteyou and these terms

Inviteyou provides wedding websites, invitations, RSVP tools and guest-list management. These terms govern your use of the service. The service operator and contact details are listed below. By creating an account, you agree to this version of these terms.

2. Accounts and authorised access

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into an agreement to create an account. Give accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise. Only access weddings and guest information you are permitted to manage. Inviting collaborators gives them the access described in the service.

3. Your content and guest information

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us permission to host, display and process it as necessary to operate the service. You must have the rights to upload photos and other content and an appropriate basis to provide personal data. Keep guest information accurate, inform guests as required and use exported information responsibly. Do not upload unlawful content or information unnecessary for the wedding.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for spam, harassment, fraud or illegal activity. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, introduce malicious software or attempt to access another user's data. We may remove content or restrict access to address misuse or security risks.

5. Free and paid features

Available features and limits are described in the service. Creating an account does not itself commit you to a paid purchase. Before any paid order, we will show the price, applicable taxes, duration and relevant purchase conditions. A paid order requires a separate confirmation. No automatic renewal applies unless expressly disclosed and agreed at checkout.

6. Cancellation and consumer rights

You may ask to close your account through the service contact. Paid cancellation and refund conditions will be shown before purchase. Any mandatory consumer rights, including applicable withdrawal and remedies for a service that does not conform to the agreement, remain unaffected. These terms alone do not waive a withdrawal right or authorise an immediate start of a paid service.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, technical faults and circumstances outside our control may interrupt access. Keep copies of important content and export guest information before its retention deadline. We may improve or change features; material changes affecting paid commitments will be communicated and handled in accordance with applicable rights.

8. Privacy and retention

The separate privacy statement explains personal-data use and retention. Guest lists are scheduled for permanent removal 14 calendar days after the wedding date and couple accounts for deactivation at that time, as described in that statement. Download any exports you need beforehand. Accepting these terms is not consent to optional marketing or other optional data processing.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches, security risks or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to remedy a breach. You can contact us to dispute a restriction. Termination does not remove any mandatory refund or consumer rights, or change our obligations concerning personal data.

10. Responsibility and liability

You are responsible for checking invitation content, dates, recipients and access permissions before sharing. We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable care. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer protections.

11. Updates to these terms

Each published version is preserved. We will explain material changes through the service or your account contact and may ask you to accept a new version before continuing. A new acceptance is recorded separately and does not rewrite your previous acceptance.

12. Contact and disputes

Contact the service operator using the details below with questions, complaints or account-closure requests. We will try to resolve concerns fairly. Dutch law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or access to courts available under the laws applicable to them.
